Our evaluations from customers have found that after installing ESMoSPHERETM, their food wastages have reduced by around 40% for seafood products and 30% for meat products. These reductions were achieved without changing the recommended shelf life of perishables.
The presence of the ESMoSPHERETM will help to protect the freshness condition of the food such that they would not be discarded due to pre-mature deterioration from constant handling and fluctuations in the storage temperaure.
Essentially, ESMoSPHERETM works to hold the water molecules in the food cells better such that dehydration is reduced. With an improved condition of the food cells, the presence of bacteria will find less opportunity to multiple quickly. Hence, the exponential growth of bacteria can be delayed (by 30% average) - see illustration beow.
